Hanover has a very welcoming and relaxed vibe. It is well known for its community spirit, excellent family pubs, independent cafes and deli's. It is a very convenient part of Brighton, with good access by foot, bike or bus into nearby Brighton city centre. The station is @10/15 minutes walk away, as is the city centre and seafront. Primary and infant schools nearby are all rated very highly by 'Ofsted' and parents are more than happy to recommend the schools. Parking is permit zone V, currently no waiting list. Hanover has plenty of car club drop off/collection points and lots of Smartbike hire points. Overall Hanover is a great place to live.
110 Islingword Road is located on the corner of 'Ewart Street' in central Hanover. It is a pretty house with a cherry tree located outside. Once inside the home, through the inner porch, you enter the open plan living/dining room. Lovely high ceilings as it was formerly a shop. The kitchen is located to the rear with a door out to the South/West facing patio. Upstairs are 2 good sized bedrooms and a modern bathroom over the kitchen.
The property is highly unusual for Hanover, with the garage/workshop located to the rear of the patio. This offers adaptable storage/work space, with access out to Ewart Street, with an up and over garage door. Plus a side door from the garden and a side door out to Ewart Street. It also has power and lighting.
