Hanover is a wonderful place to live. Extremely convenient for the station, city centre and seafront, all within 15 minutes or so walk. Hanover is made up of mainly Victorian terraced homes and is considered a very welcoming and caring part of Brighton. Plenty of family friendly independent pubs, deli's and coffee shops on your doorstep. Nearby infant/primary schools are highly rated and there is large range of children's nurseries. Parking is permit zone V, currently no waiting list. Washington Street is located between Islingword Road and Southover Street, towards the lower end of Hanover.
This is a truly wonderful home. The vendors have at considerable cost created a home to be proud of. The house offers very flexible accommodation over 3 floors. A rarity for a Hanover home here is the fact there are 2 toilets, one on the ground floor and the other in the large bathroom on the 1st floor.
The house is laid out over three floors, with the front facing East for morning sun and the rear West for lovely afternoon and evening sun in the garden. As you enter the home, you have a lounge/bedroom 3 to the front, with a wood burner and plenty of shelving. Next to this room is a separate WC and to the rear bedroom 2 with a large recessed storage cupboard.
The first floor has a large main bedroom to the front, with a large modern stylish bathroom next to the bedroom. The bathroom is stunning. The lower level is the heart of this home. With an open plan kitchen/diner/lounge, all again beautifully presented, with numerous storage, a breakfast bar and french doors out to the raised balcony, perfect for 'alfresco' eating. The garden is extremely well designed, with minimal maintenance, getting plenty of afternoon and evening sun. Overall this is a wonderful home, refurbished to a high standard and is well worth viewing.
